When you choose working with Cata you are working with 200 afro-colombian producers in Cauca and a team of young producers in Huila too. Every single sack is the hope under the cover of a globally traded good, that contributes to create the basis of a better economy. Every sack bought by you inspires many of us in Colombia to stay in the coffee industry despite of the unpredictable.
That coffee sack is a light that shines a brighter future on generations of youths, who aspire to build a destiny that they can choose, like, 22 years old Nestor Lasso and his community or 19 years old Luisa in Tolima.
This is not a coffee sack but Equality. May it be gender or color, age or race, this coffee does not discriminate. This coffee brings the best out of the beautiful, such as producer Luz Deifa and her afro-colombian association ASOM.

We want you to meet everyone in our team who works in the production of the green coffee we source you, after all coffee is about people! When we visit producers and work along with them we hear their stories and these stories can’t stay only with us, we want to share them with you in order to grow together, to support each other improving processes in the farms, as well as, holding hands when climate change, c price and other issues hit us.
By offering traceability we hope to be a direct pathway between two worlds too often dissociated, we hope to secure a long term relationship with these producers while you carry on offering delicious coffees to your costumers.
